Summer Must-Haves

Summer Essentials 2012

Summer is almost here!  I can't wait for the sunshine, fresh blooms, and sandy beaches.
Onto the swatches!!!

1.  Fake Bake Flawless.  This is a great self tanner that doesn't stink and gives you a very natural, and build-able color (think golden brown no orange).  It has a tint so you can you see how the product is going on your skin giving you a streak free application.  Smells like tropical fruits. 

2.  Obagi Nu-Derm Sun Shield SPF 50.  Sun protection is a must!  Light, and blends into the skin very fast.  No smell, doesn't leave a pasty white mask, and no burning. 

 3. The Body Shop Vitamin E illuminating Moisture Cream.  This is a lightweight moisturizer that "brightens" up your skin.  No obvious glitter particles.  It's similar to Mac's Strobe Cream.  You can see from the swatch that it has a purply tint so be careful not to use too much. 

4. Origins VitaZing SPF 15.  I like to wear this to the beach over my sunscreen.  It has little beads that changes color when rubbed against your skin.  Gives a very, very, sheer coverage.  Doesn't look like you're wearing makeup, but does make a difference. 

5. The Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil.  I love this stuff.  It gives your skin the best glow ever.  Smells really good too.  I usually use this around my collar bones and on my legs. Perfect for the beach or a night out. 

6. Nars the Multiple in Copacabana, Orgasm, and South Beach.  I use Copacabana as a highlight, Orgasm as a blush, and South Beach as a Bronzer.  Gives a very natural look. 

7. Revlon Lip Butter in Cupcake.  Perfect baby pink color with a slight gloss.  Doesn't try out your lips.

Mini Sephora Haul

Took advantage of Sephora's 15 days of beauty thrills and picked up two more bottles of PHYTO Phytophanere and a glass nail filler.  I got the Taylor Swift Wonderstuck perfume for free!!!!  So excited to try it out.

Today's look feature Woodwinked from Mac.  I love using this color in the spring/summer by itself.  It gives the most gorgeous glow to your eyes.  I lined the waterline with Prestige eyeliner in black.

This is with three coats.  The first coat is a little streaky (not too uncommon since its a pastel), and the second coat fixed the problem.
